Of oval form with a domed cover surmounted by a fruit-shaped finial, decorated with a polychrome coat of arms flanked by heraldic animals and inscribed with the motto 'Sola Virius Lavrte’, the sides with gilt landscape panels and scattered floral sprays, all within gilt foliate borders. Dimensions 23 x 18cm.
