Art Nouveau vase by Lötz with a pewter mount. Art Nouveau iridescent art glass vase with an intense green background and an organic, softly rounded shape. With a low, wide body and a slightly narrow neck, it is finished with a decorative pewter mount featuring a stylized motif inspired by nature. The surface presents a subtle play of colors with bluish tones toward the base, characteristic of the period. Origin: Bohemia (now the Czech Republic). Manufacturer: Lötz. Provenance: Private German collection. Biography: Johann Lötz Witwe was one of the most important producers of Art Nouveau art glass around 1900.
