Annotation to this new series: During my 6-year circumnavigation of the world I have often come into contact with the increasing pollution and overfishing of the seas. In the middle of the Pacific I watched fishing fleets that were pulling incredible large nets with them. Garbage from civilization accumulates on deserted islands.
