Alla auktioner / Mattor & Textilier / Lussuosa lana vintage double face by Decortex...
This majestic roll of high-fashion wool represents the excellence of Italian weaving signed Decortex Firenze, as evidenced by the original label. With generous dimensions of 140 cm in width and no less than 510 cm in length, this cut offers a substantial amount of material that is warm, heavy, and of the highest quality. The most prized feature of this fabric is its double-faced structure: one side flaunts a sophisticated deep forest green shade with rich sheen, while the other side presents an elegant and classic night blue. The hand is extremely compact, warm, and enveloping, with a brushed and soft surface that guarantees a stable structure and impeccable drape, perfect for structured winter haute couture garments. The abundance of over 5 meters allows for creating unique, coordinated, and highly prestigious clothing. In haute couture, it is the ideal fabric for making winter coats of bygone eras, double-breasted outerwear, reversible capes that exploit the two colors, winter jackets, or elegant structured jackets for both men and women. For home and interior design, the fabric’s compactness and quality make it ideal for luxurious decorative throws, hand-finished sofa throws, winter accent cushions, or heavy drapes to thermally insulate doors and windows with maximum elegance. An extraordinarily valuable fabric, destined for those who seek uncompromising quality and timeless beauty in pure Made in Italy craftsmanship.
