Wedding rings were already known in ancient times. Even the ancient Egyptians and Romans wore the wedding ring on the ring finger of the left hand, as it was believed that a vein, the so-called vena amoris, the vein of love, led directly from this finger to the heart. While many Western countries adhere to this custom, in Germany, Central Europe and Scandinavia it is customary to wear the ring on the right hand. The pair of wedding rings we would like to present to you here has been newly created in our workshop from high-carat, warmly glowing yellow gold. The rings' gold content of 900/000 corresponds to the alloy of historical coin gold. In our opinion, this is the perfect gold content for a wedding ring, as it combines sufficient robustness for everyday wear with the most beautiful gold color. The domed rings are polished to a shine. Their edges are rounded, which makes them more comfortable to wear. There is enough space inside for your own engraving, a date or your partner's name. The pair shown here is slightly different in width: The smaller ring is 2.0 mm wide, the larger 3.0 mm wide. However, the rings are also available with a matt finish or in other widths and sizes; you can find more models here. Each pair is made in the right size according to your wishes.
