The luxurious ring here features the classic combination of white diamonds with a blue sapphire. The stone in the center of the dome-shaped rising ring face has a weight of more than two carats and a wonderfully intense blue colour, which has been achieved without artificial after-treatment! Untreated sapphires with expressive colour are rare and sought after. Most of the stones on the market are either heated to improve their colour, irradiated to intensify the colour or filled with lead glass to hide cracks. Here, however, none of this was necessary, because the beauty of the stone created only nature itself. The ring from the 1990s sets a total of forty-three small diamonds with a total weight of about 1.32 carats around its wonderful sapphire. The diamonds thus form a glittering pavée. The adjoining ring band and the settings themselves are forged from brightly shining white gold. This complements the ring's colour tone, which evokes the vastness of the ocean and the sky above. To ensure that the gemstone in our ring is an untreated sapphire, we commissioned an appraisal from the German Association for Gemstone Evaluation in Idar-Oberstein. It will be delivered together with the ring.
