Fascinating manifesto dedicated to the Segantini Exhibition, organized in the Grubicy Pavilion on the occasion of the 1906 Milan International Exposition. Note: This is a later edition, probably from the 1970s. The work reuses the famous composition created by Agrini for the show dedicated to Giovanni Segantini. The scene, dominated by a powerful dark horse galloping toward a female figure suspended in the sky, expresses with great intensity the symbolism and dynamism typical of early Italian 20th-century graphics. Particularly interesting are the decorative characters of the inscription “Mostra Segantini” and the strong diagonal construction of the image, which gives the entire composition a remarkable sense of movement. At the bottom there are references to the Grubicy Pavilion, the 1906 International Exposition, and the Chappuis lithographic establishment in Bologna.
