Many of these aspects of Italian culture also have a deep international impact, making Italy one of the most well-known and visited countries in the world. ▐ The collection is made in fine blue Italian resin, with light shades (a clear nod to the blue jersey, the uniform adopted by almost all teams representing Italy at international level) and is characterized by a hand-enamelled double tricolor placed on the top of the cap. The Tricolore is the symbol of Italy in the world and embodies national pride: the Red symbolizes blood, the suffering of all those who pursued the dream of freedom and fought for Italy’s unification; the White represents the Catholic faith of Italians and symbolizes the Alpine glaciers; the Green is the hope of a free and united Italy, the desire of many Italians who lost their lives pursuing this deep value, and it is the green of the Mediterranean scrub, the landscape typical of our country. On the barrel of the pen and on the cap ring are depicted Italy and the three capitals that have followed each other over the years are highlighted by precious stones.
