Pendant in Natural Malachite with Artisanal Silver Crafting This magnificent pendant features a cross-section of a stalactite of malachite, a copper carbonate mineral in a deep green color. The distinctive feature of this specimen is its concentric banded structure, visible in polished sections like this, which reveals the different growth stages of the mineral. Its silky luster and vibrant coloration have always made it a highly valued material in jewelry as well as ornamental and decorative objects. The mineral has been skillfully cut and polished to emphasize its spectacular natural patterns, and subsequently set with an artisanal 925 silver mount, which enhances its beauty without obscuring its complexity. This type of craftsmanship allows wearing a piece of geological history, transformed into a unique and visually striking accessory. Natural inclusions and small color variations are testimony to the authenticity and natural formation of the mineral. An specimen of notable size and aesthetic quality, ideal for mineral collectors seeking pieces with strong decorative value or for those wishing a distinctive piece of jewelry that captures attention. Its uniqueness and provenance from the Congo, known for its high-quality malachite formations, make it a sought-after piece for any collection.
