Up for auction is a magnificent and pristine Junghans Quartz Skeleton mantel clock, a stunning piece of mid-to-late 20th-century German design and horological engineering. New Old Stock (NOS): This clock is in brand new, unused condition. It has been carefully preserved in its original factory box (shows minor shelf wear from storage, but the clock itself is immaculate). It has never been displayed or used, functioning perfectly. Elegant arch-shaped clear acrylic, high-grade plastic housing with a solid grey base, offering a modern "skeleton" look that lets you see completely through the clock. White chapter ring featuring classic black Roman numerals (I–XII) and clean minute tracks, suspended centrally to highlight the intricate internal mechanics. High-precision German Junghans Quartz movement powered by a standard battery. The inner mechanism displays visible brass-tone gears and wheels, showcasing a fascinating skeleton structure. Signed “JUNGHANS quartz” and “MADE IN GERMANY” on the face. The rear mechanism bridge is marked “UNADJUSTED”, “SW 88”, and “MADE IN GERMANY”.
