Alla auktioner / Mattor & Textilier / Marine Routes in Classic Blue - Upholstery fabric - 300 cm - 280 cm
This cotton upholstery fabric features a chic and bold design, inspired by the nautical world. The composition unfolds through a regular sequence of deep blue vertical stripes alternating with ivory bands, creating an orderly and refined visual rhythm. Within the blue bands are small iconic motifs like anchors and marine knots, drawn in white with a clean, precise stroke. The overall impression instantly evokes the atmosphere of coastal towns and vintage ships, with a perfect balance between geometric precision and decorative details. The color contrast is sharp yet harmonious, making the fabric fresh, bright, and timeless. Made of cotton, this fabric offers a natural, sturdy, and pleasant feel to the touch. The tight weave ensures good durability over time, making it suitable for frequent use. The print is well defined and maintains sharpness even in the smallest details, such as the nautical symbols, which are clear and well proportioned. The combination of stripes and marine motifs makes it a versatile fabric, capable of adapting to different contexts without losing its identity. Ideal for upholstering chairs, small armchairs, and sofas in nautical or Mediterranean settings, this fabric is also perfect for light curtains, decorative cushions, and summer bedspreads. It can be used in seaside homes, boats, nautical-themed venues, or even in urban spaces to introduce a fresh, relaxed touch. Also perfect for contract projects such as seaside resorts, hotels, and restaurants that want to evoke an elegant and timeless coastal ambiance. The motifs of anchors and knots have a long tradition in naval history. In the past, sailors used knots not only for practical purposes but also as symbols of bond and protection. The anchor, on the other hand, was considered a sign of stability and hope, especially during long voyages. These symbols then entered the textile and decorative world, becoming distinctive elements of the maritime style that still today evokes freedom, travel, and the timeless charm of the sea. Care and Cleaning: To maintain the beauty and quality of your precious fabric over time, it is important to follow some simple care instructions: Washing: It is recommended to hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Use a mild detergent free of aggressive bleaches to preserve vibrant colors. Drying: Avoid the dryer to prevent compromising the fibers. Hang the fabric to air dry, avoiding prolonged direct sun exposure, which could fade the colors. Ironing: Iron the fabric at a low temperature, preferably with a cotton cloth over it, to avoid direct contact with the iron and to keep the fabric surface impeccable. Professional cleaning: If used for upholstery or large surfaces, professional dry cleaning is advised for safer, longer-lasting maintenance. Following these simple guidelines, your fabric will maintain its splendor and integrity over time, continuing to enhance your spaces with class and refinement. Fabric
