Märklin Gauge 0 - 1999/0 - Fuel Drum Carrier Wagon with 3 lithographed metal drums (Standard, B.V.-Aral, Shell) - Prewar (circa 1930s) Description • Manufacturer & Era: Märklin, pre-war production (ca. 1930–1939). • Model number: 1999/0 (Gauge 0). • Special feature: Original stamping “Märklin” and “Germany” on the underside of the green tin chassis. Clearly visible contemporary ink stamp/handwritten price with the then purchase price “4.50”. • Couplings: On both sides original pre-war couplings stamped “DRP” (Deutsches Reichspatent). • Load: 3 original, color lithographed fuel drums from well-known brands: Shell (yellow/red), B.V.-Aral (green/diamond), and Standard (beige/red). • Condition: Authentic, age-appropriate vintage condition. The lithography colors on the drums are vivid and well preserved. The chassis shows charming, original paint patina and minimal signs of aging. No significant deformations or missing parts apparent.
