Mason (Attr.) Landscape Motif Porcelain Loving Cup Attributed to Mason (English circa 1800 - circa 1854), circa 1820. Large gilded ironstone loving cup, having double handles, figural rural village landscape scene, and gadrooned base. Apparently unmarked. Approximate dimensions: 8 1/2 x 11 3/4 x 8 3/8 in. (21.6 x 29.8 x 21.3 cm.); Note: an identical mug appears in an unknown publication with the text, "60. A very finely painted and gilt 'Mason's Patent Ironstone China' loving cup, of the same form as that shown above in Plate 59. Unmarked. 8 inches high. c. 1820, Messrs. Delomosne & Son Ltd. Messrs."
