Alla auktioner / Leksaker & Samlarföremål / Mattel - Barbie doll - Gay Parisienne - Collectors'...
Hailing from the Collector’s Request Collection, this Barbie belongs to a series designed specifically for collectors, aimed at reissuing the most requested and the most iconic looks in the brand’s history. It recreates the 1959 Gay Parisienne, one of the earliest landmark silhouettes in Barbie’s wardrobe. This kind of reissue is not a free interpretation, but a faithful reproduction of an archival look, identified and sought after by collectors. The face adopts the hallmarks of the early Barbie, with a side glance, red lips and a brown hairstyle in a ponytail with a curled fringe — a key element for vintage Barbie enthusiasts. The outfit consists of a navy blue polka-dot ball gown, paired with a faux fur stole and a veiled headband, in an aesthetic directly tied to late-1950s fashion. Collector Barbie from the Collector’s Request Collection, reproduction of the 1959 model “Gay Parisienne.” Shipping: the package will be shipped by DHL Express.
