A0000005880 MAURICE LACROIX AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH WATCH (REF. 03291): We present at auction a highly elegant mechanical chronograph from the Swiss firm Maurice Lacroix, representative of the classic and refined aesthetics that characterized the brand during the 1990s. Classic Dial and Two-Tone Design: The watch standout for its captivating dark blue dial, which creates an attractive contrast with the three silver chronograph subdials (arranged at 6, 9, and 12). Time is read through elegant Roman numerals and Breguet-style hands in gold tone. The stainless steel case is embellished with a stepped bezel, crown, and chronograph pushers plated in gold, giving it a sophisticated and versatile appearance. Prestigious Mechanical Quality: Inside it houses a robust and prestigious automatic chronograph movement of Swiss manufacture (known for using the reliable and durable Valjoux 7750 base), guaranteeing excellent performance. Condition Report (Expert Review) Bidders are asked to closely examine the photo gallery to verify the piece’s real condition: Case and Bezel: The stainless steel case and gold components are in very good overall condition. They show fine micro-scratches and typical signs of use, but no deep wear to the plating. Dial and Crystal: The dial is in magnificent condition, clean and perfectly legible. The crystal is in good condition. Case Back: Screw-down steel back, polished. It shows multiple light scratches from use and desk support, but all factory engravings (including reference 03291) are clearly legible. Bracelet: Supplied mounted on a textured blue leather strap (not original to the brand) in very good usable condition, with a steel buckle. Mechanical: The automatic movement is in working order. The chronograph functions start, stop, and reset to zero without issue.
