MEDSAN - Spike Spiegel at the Jazz Bar (ジャズバーのスパイク・スピーゲル) - UNIQUE WORK

IT IS ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1 In this vertical format, Medsan places Spike Spiegel, the bounty hunter from Cowboy Bebop, in front of a seaside jazz bar at sunset. Backed by a turquoise Chevrolet Impala convertible, hands in the pockets of his midnight-blue suit, yellow shirt and dark tie, a cigarette at his lips, he turns his head toward the horizon with his windswept green hair. Behind him, a vertical sign glows red neon 宇宙 above an orange awning. On the white wall, one reads JAZZ BAR and A BETTER TOMORROW. In the lit display window, the silhouette of a trumpeter plays in front of a BLUE NOTE LIFE poster. On the other side of the white barrier, a large orange sun sinks into the bay between palm trees. It bronzes the water above a coastal city and port cranes marked PORT TOMORROW. The sky is a deep blue, the turquoise bodywork, the sunset orange: the scene carries the slow pace of a day’s end without a mission. A cinematic and soothing piece, ideal for adding a touch of jazz nostalgia to a collector’s anime interior.
