Alla auktioner / Fordon / Mercedes-Benz - E 200 - 1994
GENERAL: This Mercedes-Benz E 200 Cabrio (W124 chassis) was first registered in July 1994. It is a well-maintained unit with 218,000 km and only three owners throughout its history. The W124 saga, conceived under the legendary over-engineered philosophy of engineer Bruno Sacco, is universally regarded as the pinnacle of Mercedes-Benz’s build quality and engineering. The W124 Cabriolet (A124) was the brand’s first four-seat mid-size convertible since the W111 left the market in 1971, characterized by an extraordinary structural reinforcement to maintain torsional rigidity without vibrations or annoying twists. This unit combines timeless elegant German design with the appeal of a practical four-seater convertible in excellent overall condition. BODYWORK AND PAINT: The bodywork is in perfect condition, with its original lines preserved intact. The exterior paint presents a uniform, glossy finish in a refined blue tone. The soft top is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition, offering perfect seal and an impeccable fit. MECHANICS: The vehicle is powered by the reliable 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated M111.940 gasoline engine, paired with a manual transmission. The mechanicals are in excellent condition, delivering smooth, stable, and comfortable running. INTERIOR: The cabin is upholstered in gray leather in excellent condition, creating a very attractive contrast with the blue exterior. The seats, dashboard, door panels, and wood trim retain the high-quality finishing and refinement characteristic of the marque. DOCUMENTATION: The history shows only three owners since its first registration in July 1994, with orderly documentation. PICK-UP / DELIVERY: Location of the vehicle for collection in Torroella de Montgrí, Girona, Catalonia, Spain. OTHER INFORMATION: A superb opportunity to acquire a young classic with impeccable engineering, German elegance, and great collectible value, ready to enjoy with the top down."}
