Artist Statement: "This work is an exercise in introspection about resilience and human fragility in the face of the vastness of the unknown. I have been inspired by the figure of the lighthouse, not only as an architectural structure, but as a metaphor for the inner light that persists even in the fiercest storms. The piece centers on dramatic contrast. On one hand, the central tower, painted with dense, earthy textures, represents tenacity and the will to stand firm. Its crimson dome is that point of hope or imminent danger, a flash of vitality that breaks the monotony of the storm. On the other hand, I have employed impasto technique to capture the fury of the surroundings. The deep marine blues, blended with foamy whites, not only suggest water and clouds but also chaos and the dissolution of form. It is a struggle between structure and chaos, where the elements threaten to engulf the viewer completely. The focal point, that intense white light at the center, is the epicenter of the storm and the sole source of clarity, creating a visual tension that invites the viewer to question what remains safe and what is about to be destroyed. This work is ideal for a collector seeking pieces with a strong emotional charge and a tactile texture that comes alive under different lights."
