Metal - Necklace with pendant - Silvered metal purse

Vintage necklace with a pouch-like pendant – elegant openwork metal mesh – retro jewelry Very pretty vintage necklace adorned with a pendant shaped like a small purse, made in articulated metal mesh consisting of many small round elements. An original piece full of charm, ideal for lovers of antique, retro jewelry and items that stand out from the ordinary. This necklace consists of a fine metal chain to which is attached a pendant particularly original representing a small pouch. The pendant adopts a slightly trapezoidal shape, with a top part narrower and a rounded base. It is made up of a multitude of small metal discs connected together, forming a flexible and openwork mesh. This construction gives the pendant a charming sense of movement and depth: the small metal elements catch the light and create subtle reflections when the jewelry is worn. The upper part is outlined by a more rigid metal contour that nicely structures the whole and truly evokes the traditional shape of a small purse or coin purse. The pouch is historically associated with the small bags once worn at the belt or hung on the costume. Here, this traditional form is transformed into a pendant jewel, giving it a retro, elegant and slightly unusual character. The pendant can also evoke tiny handbags and purse-like jewelry highly valued in vintage accessories. The chain features a fine and regular mesh that nicely contrasts with the more worked character of the pendant. see photos for more details carefully packaged and tracked shipping
