HIGHLIGHTS: • Limited series: only 100 units produced for the Italian market (of which around 50 in this color scheme) • Very low original mileage of just 20,500 km • From the 2nd owner from Italy (Varese) • Includes John Cooper conversion certificate, official appraisal report, and complete history • Unique Muirhead Ocean Green leather interior with matching trim HISTORY/OVERVIEW: The Classic Mini Cooper Sport LE (Limited Edition) from 1999 belongs to the very last and most sought-after ranges of the classic Mini, built just before production stopped in 2000. This particular example is an extremely rare Mini Cooper Sport LE 3.2, with only 100 units destined for the Italian market. The vehicle comes from its 2nd owner from sunny Varese, Italy, and has an exceptionally low mileage of 20,500 km. The combination of Uni-lac Brooklands Green with an Old English White roof and matching the breathtaking Muirhead Ocean Green leather interior makes this edition particularly collectible. BODY/PAINT: The bodywork is in excellent condition and professionally polished. The car is finished in Brooklands Green with an Old English White roof and mirror caps. The body, floor, subframe, and load-bearing parts are original and free of damage or rust. The vehicle is equipped with a wide Sportspack stance, 13" alloy Sportspack wheels with Dunlop tires, green-tinted glass, two original headlamps with Cooper caps, and a stainless steel single sports exhaust. The chrome work (bumpers, grille), window rubbers and seams are in new condition. Also equipped with a chromed John Cooper Aston fuel cap, Cooper S decals/stripes, a chromed GB badge and original wing badges. INTERIOR: The interior features original Muirhead Ocean Green leather seats and rear seat with dark-green piping. The dashboard is finished in aluminum with white Smiths gauges and pointers, complemented by matching leather dashboard trim and new leather sun visors. In addition, the interior includes dark-green carpeting, a new John Cooper mat set, a leather Cooper steering wheel with airbag, an original Cooper Sport gear knob (the original green leather gear knob is also included), John Cooper door sills, and an aluminum Cooper S Works door handle set. The headliner is in good condition. ENGINE AND TECHNICAL: The Mini is powered by the original 1275cc MPI injected engine (matching numbers) paired with a manual 4-speed gearbox. The engine features a performance kit with John Cooper certificate (power around 80 hp). The vehicle has recently undergone major maintenance, including an oil change (20W-50 Millers) and replacement of the oil filter, air filter, gaskets and sleeves. In addition, the clutch plate, pressure plate, oil seals, axle seals and various rubbers have been replaced. The vehicle is equipped with an alarm and immobiliser with remote control. DOCUMENTS: The full documentation and history are present, including the instruction manual, service manual, the official John Cooper conversion certificate, an official TTCC appraisal report, and various loose documents.
