Description of the work: A major icon of pop art, Andy Warhol’s series of Four Marilyns marked art history with its repetition, color, and the transformation of a popular figure into a mythical image. With 4 Monroe VS Art, this iconic work is reinterpreted as a mosaic, composed exclusively of contemporary artworks. Each fragment draws from the diversity of current creation: forms, colors, materials, and styles respond to each other to form a dense and vibrant composition. Assembled, these works recompose the four iconic faces of Marilyn, creating a direct dialogue between pop heritage and the effervescence of contemporary art. Printed on plexiglass, the work gains depth, shine, and modernity, offering a decidedly contemporary and design-oriented rendering, conceived to elevate modern interiors. From a distance: the immediate, recognizable pop repetition of a cultural icon. Up close: a kaleidoscope of inspirations, reflecting the richness and plurality of contemporary art. Each piece is a signed and numbered work of art, produced in a limited edition, affirming its exclusive character and its artistic value.
