Description of the work: An absolute masterwork of art history, Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa has fascinated for centuries with her enigmatic smile and timeless mystery. With Mona Lisa VS Funny Faces, this mythical portrait is reinterpreted as a mosaic, composed exclusively of faces making funny faces. Each fragment captures an exaggerated, funny or absurd expression, revealing a raw and uninhibited spontaneity. Assembled, these grimaces recompose the world’s most famous face, creating a striking contrast between historic solemnity and contemporary expressiveness. Printed on plexiglass, the work gains depth, brilliance and modernity, offering a decidedly contemporary and design-forward presentation, crafted to enhance modern interiors. From a distance: the calm and immediately recognizable elegance of a universal masterpiece. Up close: an explosion of expressions and emotions, between humor and irony. Each piece is a signed and numbered artwork, produced in a limited edition, affirming its exclusivity and artistic reach.
