Description of the work: The absolute icon of pop art, Marilyn Monroe’s portrait reinterpreted by Andy Warhol has forever marked the history of art and popular culture. With Monroe VS Contemporary Art, this iconic image in pink tones is reinterpreted as a mosaic, composed exclusively of images from contemporary art. Each fragment draws from the visual richness of current creation: shapes, colors, materials and styles overlap to form a vibrant and bustling whole. Assembled, these works remix the iconic Marilyn face, creating a dialogue between pop heritage and contemporary creative explosion. Printed on Plexiglas, the piece gains depth, shine, and modernity, offering a decidedly contemporary and design-driven rendering, conceived to enhance modern interiors. From a distance: the glamour and instantly recognizable figure of Marilyn. Up close: a kaleidoscope of inspirations, a vibrant nod to art of our era. Each piece is a signed and numbered work of art, produced in a limited edition, asserting its exclusivity and artistic value.
