Description of the work: An absolute icon of pop art, the Marilyn Monroe portrait reinterpreted by Andy Warhol has forever marked the history of art and popular culture. With Monroe VS Contemporary Art, this emblematic image in pink tones is reinterpreted as a mosaic, composed exclusively of images from contemporary art. Each fragment draws from the visual richness of contemporary creation: shapes, colors, materials, and styles overlap to form a vibrant, bustling whole. Assembled, these works reconstruct the iconic face of Marilyn, creating a dialogue between pop heritage and contemporary creative explosion. Printed on plexiglass, the piece gains depth, brilliance, and modernity, offering a decidedly contemporary and design-forward presentation, intended to elevate modern interiors. From afar: the glamorous and instantly recognizable image of Marilyn. From up close: a kaleidoscope of influences, a vibrant nod to the art of our era. Each piece is a signed and numbered work of art, produced in a limited edition, asserting its exclusivity and artistic value.
