Alfa Romeo Alfetta 158/159 – Rare Vintage Cast Metal Racing Car Model – 40 cm – Circa 1950s (Attributed) Rare and interesting vintage large-scale model representing an Alfa Romeo Alfetta racing car, stylistically attributable to the legendary Alfa Romeo Tipo 158/159 single-seaters, which competed in international motor racing during the 1940s and 1950s. Measuring approximately 39–40 cm in length, this impressive model features a solid cast metal body, presumably made of zinc alloy (Zamak), finished in traditional Alfa Romeo racing red with gold-coloured details. The racing number 37 is displayed on the rear section of the body. The model features several distinctive details, including: - Original-style circular Alfa Romeo badge on the body. - Four entirely metal wheels with gold-coloured centres and black outer rims. - Three-spoke metal steering wheel. - Small transparent windscreen. - Open single-seat cockpit. - Decorative gold-coloured details.
