Hand-knotted rug Nepal Royal Top condition and top quality More info Nepalese rugs are hand-knotted carpets that originally come from Nepal. They are characterized by high quality, durability, and craftsmanship. Traditionally they are made from unspun wool, often from sheep in the Himalayan region, which gives them their soft yet robust texture. The typical design of these rugs often combines traditional Tibetan patterns with modern influences, making them popular worldwide. The production is carried out by the so-called "Tibetan Knotting" method, in which each knot is hand tied, giving the rugs their uniqueness. Nepalese rugs are not only decorative elements but also expressions of a centuries-old tradition and culture. They are regarded as a sustainable and high-quality product, often used in living and commercial spaces.
