Modern Stud Earrings with 2.05 ct Brilliant-Cut Diamonds (F, vsi)

Some jewelry designs are characterized by colourful opulence, others by a grand, expressive gesture. In the 19th century, jewellery was often inspired by nature: flowers, leaves and tendrils characterized many designs, and gemstone jewellery in particular produced pieces that are sometimes more reminiscent of works of fine art than pure goldsmithing. However, there are also designs of great restraint - pieces of jewellery whose effect arises entirely from the quality of a single gemstone. These stud earrings belong to this category. One exquisite brilliant-cut diamond is set discreetly in finely pierced white gold. A shining point of pure light adorns every ear - with timeless elegance and a radiance that immediately enchants. Particularly high-quality diamonds were selected for the ear studs. Together, the two gemstones weigh in at 2.05 carats. They shine in exceptional white (F) and only show barely visible, very small inclusions (VS1). Their cut is very good and the diamonds are certified by the GIA, Gemmological Institute of America. Each diamond is held by four delicate white gold prongs, which securely hold the stone and at the same time allow optimum light to enter. The pair was created around 2008 and we discovered it here in Berlin.
