The Montblanc 221P is a vintage cartridge-filling fountain pen from the 1970s and belongs to Montblanc’s classic 22x series. It features a glossy resin body, gold-plated trim and a partially hooded 14K gold nib, giving the pen the clean, streamlined appearance typical of Montblanc designs from this period. The “P” designation refers to the cartridge-filling version, distinguishing it from the piston-filled 221. Depending on the period of production, the 221P can be used with cartridges and, on later examples, with a suitable converter. With its slim proportions, characteristic nib design and understated 1970s styling, the 221P is a distinctive vintage Montblanc that combines classic appearance with a convenient filling system. The pen is in good, pre-owned condition. Imperfections: light scratches. One hairline crack right of the clip near the top of the cap. The pen is supplied with two ink cartridges. A converter is not included.
