We present at auction an authentic icon in the history of luxury writing signed Montblanc: the magnificent Meisterstück 146 (LeGrand) fountain pen. This model, famous for its harmonious proportions and unrivaled writing comfort, represents the ultimate classic, coveted by collectors and professionals around the world. The body and cap are masterfully crafted in the traditional precious black Montblanc resin, characterized by a deep, enduring luster. The design is enhanced by the classic bright gold-plated finishes, with the triple central ring finely engraved with the brand name and the emblem of the white six-pointed star that dominates the cap’s summit. The beating heart of this extraordinary instrument is the magnificent two-tone solid gold nib, finely engraved with the maison’s traditional motifs and the number 4810. The pen is equipped with the historic and efficient piston filling mechanism, paired with the characteristic striped transparent window for convenient, immediate ink level checking. The condition of this specimen is to be considered in excellent overall condition. The instrument presents with a solid structure, perfectly clean, with a splendid resin polish and bright gilding. In line with our usual and rigorous policy of total transparency, only microscopic and physiological signs of handling due to very careful and respectful use are noted, which do not compromise in any way the extraordinary beauty or the perfect mechanical functionality of the piece. To further enhance and complete this exceptional lot, the fountain pen is offered accompanied by its original Montblanc presentation box. An unmissable opportunity to enrich your desk with a timeless classic, ready to deliver an unparalleled writing experience.
