A0000005595 MONTBLANC MEISTERSTÜCK UNICEF DOUE CLASSIQUE BALLPOINT PEN (SPECIAL EDITION 2017): We present at auction a writing instrument that is truly exceptional, because it combines the craftsmanship of the German brand Montblanc with a deeply philanthropic story. Launched in 2017 as part of the "Signature for Good" program, this special edition was created to support UNICEF's fight for literacy for children worldwide. This unit belongs to the spectacular Doué version, characterized by the elegant contrast of materials. The smooth body is crafted from Montblanc's classic, glossy black precious resin. The central feature, however, is the impressive nib with a platinum-plated metal cap. The cap is conceptually inspired by the ancient Rosetta Stone and is fully engraved with the first letters that children learn to write in six of the world's most used alphabets (Latin, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Chinese). Atop the platinum clip sits elegantly a sapphire-blue stone (approximately 0.02 carat), a visual and valuable nod to UNICEF's house color. As is customary with the brand, the unmistakable white Montblanc star sits on top. Condition (Expert Review) The piece is in magnificent aesthetic and mechanical condition: Resin and metals: The black resin shows no cracks, chips, or dents and retains a deep gloss. The platinum-plated cap and engravings remain impeccable and radiant. The sapphire on the clip is in perfect condition and the individual serial number is clearly engraved on the clip ring. Mechanism: The twist mechanism works exceptionally smoothly and stably, according to the brand's high quality standards. (Expert note: Since this is a collectible ballpoint pen, the buyer may possibly need a new Montblanc refill to ensure optimal writing function in the long term.) (Requests to bidders to view the gallery with photos in detail, as this is an essential part of the expert description of the piece. The item will be shipped without a case). Shipping The item is carefully packaged and shipped with insured transport and trackable international shipping. An excellent opportunity for collectors of Montblanc special editions who wish to integrate this piece of deep aesthetic beauty and great solidarity value into daily life! Good luck to all bidders!
