Montre de poche in oro 18 kt - 1850-1900

A pocket watch with a case in 18 Kt gold (750/1000) finely worked (most likely handmade) with a floral motif that is completed by the engraving on the front, also in 18 Kt gold, engraved with floral motifs. Considering the total weight of 18 g and the fact that the crown ring and the inner movement protection are also in 18 Kt gold (as proven by acid test) one can estimate that the gold is about 13 g. The dating is confirmed by the fact that the hands, also finely worked, move by pressing the button on the side of the crown and not by lifting it as in watches from a later period. The offer is limited to countries within the geographic boundaries of the European Union. The original period box, not being in good condition, is given as a complimentary item solely to protect the watch during delivery to the buyer. Completing the lot is a chain in gilded metal, also complimentary, which is why it was not included in the photos that form part of the description.
