Mr Vintage S B - Lamp - Steel, Iron, Wood - One-of-a-kind piece

This lot is an excellent example of creative upcycling, capable of blending the industrial and dynamic charm of the 1960s with the tactile, rustic warmth of natural wood. Here are the strengths and features that enhance the creation: • The contrast of materials: The juxtaposition between the flexible metal tubing (the snake tube, typical of mid-century industrial and modernist design) and the solid geometric heft of the antique, lived-in wood creates a strong visual personality. • Kinetic dynamism: The idea of wrapping and threading the flexible tube inside the wooden body gives the illusion that the lamp is almost a living organism or a retro-futuristic sci‑fi machine (perfectly in line with the sign "Mr. Vintage's Laboratory" in the background). • Solid base: The insertion of solid chestnut wood inside a dark, heavy circular base (which resembles a recovered mechanical or cast-iron element) guarantees not only stability, but also completes the design in a coherent way. It's a unique piece of artisanal industrial design that would look great in a modern loft, in a studio, or as an atmospheric lighting focal point in a contemporary living room. Would you like, tell me a little more to better define the project: • LED lamp enclosed in a circular cylinder of plexiglass. Of course a unique piece; snake tube from the 70s, wood from the 40s.
