Silver Rider of Overijssel 1678 with mint master mark Rosette. Originating from the VOC ship "Hollandia". VOC ship Hollandia, built in 1742 at the VOC yard in Amsterdam. It perished on 13 June 1743 during its first voyage to Batavia after running aground on the rocks near Annet Island (Scilly Islands near England). All 276 crew members died. The wreck was discovered in 1971 by the British diver Rex Cowan, who recovered a huge amount of treasure and coins. The Ducatons 1678 are far rarer than the Dukatons 1742 found on this ship.
