This coin is minted with an attractive serrated edge pattern. A variant, therefore. In the 19th century, several counterfeits of provincial coins were struck in Birmingham. One of the coins that was forged was the 2 stuiver Holland 1791 (also the 2-stuiver 1786 Utrecht is a well-known example). The coins were intended for trade in Malaysia.
