icole Lubbers is a Dutch visual artist from the eastern part of the country. She is known for her innovative and independent approach to art and works with various styles, techniques, and visual forms. In her work, color, movement, expression, and emotion play a significant role. Themes such as resilience, strength, transformation, and overcoming challenges regularly inspire her creations. Her international career has developed strongly in recent years. Lubbers was proclaimed Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award of the Municipality of Montecosaro, and achieved second place at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. She was also listed among the world’s top 100 female artists and recognized as a Master in Art. Internationally, her work has been shown and planned for exhibitions in New York, Venice, Florence, Belgrade, Belgium, China, and Montecosaro, alongside exhibitions in Dutch galleries. A notable highlight is Beyond the Surface, a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York. Additionally, Nicole presents, together with artist Michael Lam, the exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision. Two different artistic worlds come together in this, forming a shared dialogue around movement, color, creativity, and transformation. Nicole Lubbers’s work is more than just a visual image.
