icole Lubbers is a Dutch visual artist from the eastern part of the country. Her international career has developed strongly in recent years. Lubbers was named Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award of the Municipality of Montecosaro, and placed second at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. Her compositions invite reflection on perseverance, growth, and overcoming challenges. Each piece makes a powerful and tangible statement that endows a space with character, energy, and individuality.
