Nightstand (2) - Pair of Art Deco walnut bedside tables from the 1940s

Elegant pair of Italian nightstands in Art Deco style, dating from the 1940s, made of walnut wood and characterized by a sober and geometric line, typical of Italian furniture design of the period. The nightstands feature a compact and slender structure, with a top drawer and a lower compartment closed by a door. The doors are equipped with decorative handles and display a beautiful vertical grain of walnut, enhanced by the glossy finish. Particularly characteristic are the shaped and stacked bracket feet, which give the furniture an elegant Art Deco reference. The slightly protruding perimetral frame and the contrast between the directions of the grain complete the piece's aesthetics. The pair maintains a nice aesthetic and color uniformity, making it ideal to furnish an antique bedroom or to place it in a contemporary setting as a pair of nightstands, even on the sides of a modern bed. They have been polished with shellac, show normal signs of wear due to age and use. Measurements: L 40 cm D 35 cm H 70 cm Follow me on Instagram: salottoviennese Shipping via PROFESSIONAL courier.
