Alla auktioner / Mattor & Textilier / No Reserve - Antique Oushak Gallery Carpet, Western Anatolia, circa
Curated collection of antique, vintage and modern rugs No Reserve - Antique Oushak Gallery Carpet, Western Anatolia, circa 1900 Size: 11 ft 10 in x 3 ft 10 in (3.61 m x 1.17 m) Provenance: Property of New York dealer An unusually narrow Oushak carpet combining the softened color and generously drawn ornament of western Anatolian weaving with practical gallery proportions. Unlike standard room-size Oushaks, this elongated format is particularly well suited to an entrance hall, passage, library, or the side of a long dining table. Its open design and expressive floral forms allow it to furnish a narrow space without appearing visually crowded. Condition Request Condition Report Lot #461 is in very good condition. The pile is full and even, with no visible signs of wear. All sides are complete and securely finished. There is no dryness in the foundation. The rug is clean and floor-ready. Please contact our rug experts at auction@nazmiyal.com or call us for any questions you may have at 212.545.8029. Please note that all lots are sold "AS IS. " Condition reports are given as a courtesy to our clients and shall not be deemed as a guarantee of the lot's condition, quality, and authenticity. The absence of a condition report does not imply the item is in perfect condition.
