Curated collection of antique, vintage and modern rugs No Reserve - Collection of Three Vintage Turkish Silk Hereke Rugs Size: 1 ft 4 in x 1 ft 10 in (0.4 m x 0.55 m) Provenance: Property of a Nashville collector A collection of three finely woven silk Hereke rugs representing the precision and technical sophistication of Turkey’s most celebrated luxury weaving tradition. Each piece presents a distinct composition, ranging from medallion and prayer designs to more pictorially conceived ornament. Their compact sizes allow the remarkable fineness of the silk weaving to be viewed closely. Offered together without reserve, the group provides an opportunity to acquire three individual examples of Turkish silk artistry in one lot. Condition Request Condition Report Lot #590 , all three rugs are very good condition. The pile in all of them are full and even, with no visible signs of wear. All ends are original and complete and hand-secured. The sides are securely finished. There are no dryness in their foundation. All rugs are clean and floor-ready.
