No reserve price - Pendant - 18 kt

This piece of jewelry is a beautiful example of craftsmanship and history. The pendant is fitted with very clear, official Swedish hallmarks on the bale, making the origin and the year exactly known. Key features: Material: 18 karat gold (stamped with the official '18K' mark). Origin: Sweden (equipped with the well-known Swedish 'Kattfot' guarantee mark with the three crowns and Stockholm city assay mark). Year of manufacture: Exactly 1949 (guaranteed by the official Swedish year letter Y8). Weight: 2.44 grams (a refined, elegant and lightweight piece to wear). The Cameo: A real hand-carved shell cameo (not plastic or glass!) with a beautiful, finely detailed female portrait against a warm reddish-orange background. Condition of the jewelry: The pendant is in excellent vintage condition. The gold has a wonderful, deep 18K gloss and the soft-pink shell is completely undamaged (no cracks, chips or deep scratches). The backside is left open, allowing the light to shine beautifully through the shell when the pendant is worn. A unique heirloom for the collector, or a wonderfully meaningful gift
