The natural mother-of-pearl carved in relief with translucence gives the jewelry a strong visual impact. The carnelian is large, about 20 mm. The ring is made of sterling silver and features a traditional, relatively robust seal shape, which gives it an imposing presence on the hand while remaining very practical to wear. The engraving itself is crisp and well preserved, with good definition throughout the figure and surrounding decorations.
