Spectacular signet ring carved in a classic style, depicting a carved figure of the Chariot of the Dawn, with classical elements. The depiction is in relief. The natural carnelian carved in relief with translucence gives the jewel a strong visual impact. The carnelian is large, about 20 mm. The ring is made of sterling silver and features a traditional, relatively robust signet shape, which gives it an imposing presence on the hand while remaining very practical to wear. The engraving itself is sharp and well preserved, with good definition throughout the figure and the surrounding decorations.
