O Delgado - La pesca XL

La Pesca presents a seaside scene in which a fisherman, wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt and sheltered by a light-colored hat, holds his rods facing a stretch of turquoise water. Around him, orange fish cross the surface, while the foreground vegetation introduces green hues and small white flowers that add richness and contrast to the composition. The water occupies a large part of the work and is built with loose, rhythmic, expressive brushstrokes that suggest the movement of the surface and the reflections of light. The intensity of the blues and greens contrasts with the warm tones of the fish and the figure, creating a vibrant scene that conveys the energy and serenity of life by the sea. The composition combines a close-up view of the figure with a free interpretation of the landscape, in which color and painterly gesture play a fundamental role. The fisherman, with his back to the viewer, invites you to contemplate the scene from his own position and to share the stillness of that moment. • Artist: O.
