The sound quality is improved by using thick copper strips for the mass connections instead of the usual copper traces on a circuit board. The TX-SR501E has a five-position adjustable filter from 60 to 150 Hz, allowing the crossover frequency for the subwoofer to be perfectly matched to a wide range of speakers. As an extra there is the "Easy Set" speaker configuration and the color-coded inputs and outputs that make installation extremely easy.
