Descriptio Veined opaline in white and garnet tones with a gilt bronze mount. Measurements: 34 x 20 x 18 cm. The body has a sinuous shape and a curled upper edge, supported by a gilt bronze base with curved legs and dragon-shaped handles. The combination of materials and the vibrant colors accentuate the luxurious and ornamental character of the piece. This type of opaline, highly prized during the 19th century, was produced in French and Bohemian workshops, and stands out for its milky transparency and its Rococo-inspired mounts, reflecting the decorative refinement characteristic of 19th-century European art.
