Authentic helmet of the German Army from World War I, model 1916, featuring a multi-tone camouflage replica (mimicry type), applied according to the directives of General Ludendorff in 1918. The helmet shows more oxidation on the inside than on the outside. The camouflage is old but not from the period. It has a beautiful patina. The interior still shows good remnants of period Feldgrau paint. This piece comes from a small military museum located in the south of France, which closed its doors a few years ago.
