original rare large dancer / Danseuse / Tänzerin - Carlier - Sculpture

Hard to find and graceful Art Deco dancer of considerable size on a great, stepped marble base made of Nero Portoro and white marble. Original piece around 1930-1950. Classic and graceful pose of the dancer, very beautiful in all details and nice, green patina. The figure is a full cast of Zamack, as it was common for the time and was produced in smaller editions. A similar sculpture can be found on the internet for comparison (by typing in "Art Deco sculpture ballerina 1stdibs"). The figure must be unscrewed from the marble pedestal for shipping. Shipping information refers to a weight over 20 kg due to complex packaging and insurance and weight of double boxes it's more expensive and worth that the sculpture won't get damaged. The marble and figure are then packed separately in boxes and sent together in a large box.
