Orrefors Clear Crystal Faceted Bud Vase with Etched Bird

An Orrefors clear crystal bud vase featuring a tapered, multi-faceted body with wide vertical flutes. The front of the vessel is decorated with a finely wheel-engraved depiction of a crested bird perched upon a leafy branch, finished with a frosted matte texture that contrasts with the polished glass. The heavy lead crystal construction includes a thick, solid base that provides stability and light refraction. The underside of the base is incised with the maker's mark and additional reference numbers. A circular paper provenance sticker from the Rubin Collection is affixed to the base.
