Oscar Leonor (1976) - Auto retrato de joven (XL)

Self-portrait of a young man is one of the first works where the artist began experimenting with abstract compositions linked to realistic elements. Built from improvisation using fluid techniques, the self-portrait is formed by insinuating parts of the body such as the hair or the flesh. The result is an abstract self-portrait in vivid colors in which a face emerges from the depths of painterly chance. The work is delivered without a frame (professional packaging, rolled in a tube). Your local framer should re-stretch it and mount it on a frame. The indicated measurements are those of the painting once stretched and mounted on a frame. The actual canvas dimensions are larger to allow for mounting. Hand-signed on the back. Includes certificate of authenticity.
