Oscar Seco (1964) - S/T

Impactful original work by Óscar Seco, created in 2007 in acrylic on canvas. The composition presents a powerful visual narrative that combines historical references, war imagery, manga aesthetics, and political symbolism. In the foreground, a crowd advances in an assertive, protest-oriented stance while, in the upper plane, ideological figures and elements of science fiction coexist, creating a temporal tension between past, present, and future. The artist articulates the scene through a precise figurative language, with clean drawing and intense chromatic contrasts. The overlay of historical iconography and contemporary visual culture generates a critical reading of the construction of the historical narrative and the symbolic power of images. The work stands out for: Large format with a strong architectural presence Complex and contemporary narrative Acrylic technique with a solid, precise finish Year 2007 (mature stage of the artist) Technical details: Author: Óscar Seco Technique: Acrylic on canvas Year: 2007 Signed and dated on the reverse Condition: Good condition (shows a small, localized flaw visible in the images, bottom right) Piece suitable for collectors of Spanish contemporary figurative art and works with strong conceptual and aesthetic content.
